All Money Station shops will remain open in all tiers and during National Lockdown as an essential service.
The Scottish Government is operating on a 5 tier coronavirus strategy. Each tier has different restrictions with 0 being the least stringent and 4 being the most. Why is Money Station permitted to remain open in all tiers?
The Scottish Government has issued guidance that the following types of businesses can remain open.
“Banks, building societies, credit unions, short-term loan providers, savings clubs, cash points and undertakings which by way of business operate a currency exchange office, transmit money (or any representation of money) by any means or cash cheques which are made payable to customers” See full quote.

Shops will be open for 28 Day Buyback, Cheque Cashing and Foreign Currency. At this time and in line with Government guidelines there will be no retail inside any stores. Our Click & Collect service will be running at all times giving customers the option to collect from any Money Station store or in most cases FREE delivery.
We recommend customers wanting to pay to extend or pickup their items do so in advance using our Online Payment System or pay by card over the phone where possible. This is to reduce footfall and waiting times in stores. If not possible all stores will still accept cash payments at the counter.

The Scottish Government has issued guidance that the following types of businesses can operate a ‘Click & Collect’ Service.
Click and collect services can only be offered by retailers that are classified as essential businesses or those non-essential retailers that are currently closed.

electrical goods shops, including repair shops
